If your client is moving to New Zealand, they can apply for Southern Cross health insurance if:

• they are a New Zealand citizen;
• they have a permanent resident’s visa;
• they have a valid work visa (for two years or more); or
• they are otherwise entitled to free public healthcare in New Zealand (as determined by the Ministry of Health).
